MooGoo Product

My friend uses MooGoo products for her son's eczema. My daughter had eczema too but somehow, I don't know why I never got to try it for her. Read about her journey here.

Sometime last year or early this year, I had a really bad itchy scalp and when I went to the pharmacy in Bangsar Village 1 (Lower ground floor) and they highly recommended the MooGoo scalp cream. It really did work. You can read about it here. Since then, I've been a MooGoo fan!

Recently, I started trying more of their products. I have 2 things that I want the products to help me with:

1. Anti-ageing
2. Dry skin at targeted areas like the elbow and the heel

For anti ageing, it was recommended that I use the MooGoo Anti Aging cream. It is a light cream that is easily absorbed into the skin. It leaves my skin really smooth and soft. I am really loving the texture and my skin has become smoother too.

For the dry skin, I am now using the MooGoo Shea Sorbet Balm. This is not a cream but it is butter and it smells really wonderful with the added lime essential oil. The texture is different as it is butter but apparently it stays on the skin a little longer than normal cream does which is perfect for cracked skin or skin that needs additional moisture. I would apply it on my heel and let it melt. Once it is absorbed, I will make sure I also put my socks on before I go to bed. This has become my routine every night before bed and my skin is so much softer.

Seeing how wonderful these products are for myself, I also decided to get a cream for my mum's hand. She is currently suffering from really bad eczema and to moisturise the skin, I've decided to get her the MooGoo MSM Soothing Cream as it was highly recommended by the pharmacist. I'll write a review on it soon.

I really love MooGoo products. I think you will too.

Izumio & Super Lutein for Anti Ageing

I started consuming Izumio & Super Lutein for over 6 months now and I've seen a lot of wonderful changes in myself. The best one is that I feel more energetic and I don't feel so tired all the time anymore, which is an amazing feeling especially if you have 2 young kids keeping you busy all day.

I also discovered that Izumio is an amazing product for anti ageing. I'll be 36 years old this year and I am starting to get paranoid about getting old. Seeing lines on my face is something I don't want to see just yet. I still feel young most of the time so I better make sure I stay looking young!

The active hydrogen in Izumio is a get antioxidant to neutralise free radicals in our body. This active hydrogen is what helps with anti-ageing.

I have a photo of this lady who has been consuming the products for 4 years and she is 75 years old. She never looked better. After consuming this product, her skin becomes tighter and brighter.

Because I'm so vain, I asked her how she consume the products. She told me not only she takes them orally, she also use them as mask. The mask is a normal mask you can easily get from Daiso for RM5 each.

See the difference in her skin?

So I tried it out myself, and yes, after just 1 application, my skin also became brighter. I was so excited, I started putting on this mask daily!

I am really excited about this product as not only it helps with my health and wellbeing, it is also helping me to look better! Bonus, right?!

If you want to try this product, you may contact me at izumiolife(@)gmail.com or WA me at 016-2890041

Price of this supplement is RM435 per bottle (100 capsules) and this should last you for about 1 month.
Price of Izumio is RM435 per box (30 packets of 200ml) and this too should last for about 1 month.

It is expensive but believe it or not, I've also cut down on my facial since I started consuming this product. I spend at least RM400 for 2 hours facial and that is almost 1 month supply of super lutein/izumio.  I still go for facial to pamper myself but I find that spending my money on this will prolong my ageing process better than a facial would.

Try it!!!

Izumio & Super Lutein

I was introduced to these amazing products by a friend.

1. Izumio  Hydrogenated water - which contains 2.6mil ppt of hydrogen as compared to 500 ppt of hydrogen in the miracle water  at Lourdes.  It's a powerful anti oxidant which helps get rid of free radicals in the body.

2. Super Lutein - contains 6 important carotenoids and 5 essential vitamins. It is supposedly very good for our overall health and especially the for the eyes.

I got interested in trying this as I've seen testimonials on how this product can help cure eczema. My daughter had a bad rash and I thought it would be good to try.

It worked. After a week of consuming these combination of products, without the help of any steroid creams or other medication, my daughter is healed. Amazing.

Research also shows how these products will work for someone with breast cancer and leukemia.

They also have success in reducing blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes and other health problems.

If you are interested to try this product, do send me an email to dzuraa(@)gmail.com and I shall be able to direct you to the sales person.

Hunny & Bunny

I had lots of credit points from Living Social and had to finish it. There are many restrictions too and since I can only use those credit points on service or food vouchers, I decided to spend it on spa and massages.

When I saw this deal for RM48, I bought it and when my husband heard, he wanted to come along too. I ended up buying 2 of these vouchers.

I tried to make an appointment for us to go together while the kids are in school but they are always full. Finally I got a slot about 3 weeks later. We weren't in a hurry and I had no choice so we agreed.

On the day of the appointment, we got there early. Thank god we did as we couldn't find the spa. We parked on the main road of Plaza Damas (opposite Innai) and was walking around for the spa but couldn't find it. Turns out, it is actually not on the main road.

If you can see from the voucher, it says that the name of the spa is Reffinej Wellness. We walked around and couldn't find it. We see signboards and banners of their promotion but we couldn't find the same name. It was so weird.

Finally we went inside this spa called Hunny & Bunny beauty and greeted by 2 ladies. Turns out, they had a chance of management recently and changed their name to Hunny & Bunny. If only they told us when they called me the day before to reconfirm the appointment.

Anyways, as you can see.. The package is for:
1. Full body massage with aromatherapy and hot stone
2. Tummy ginger therapy; OR
3. Body scrub

The lady asked us what treatment we wanted. I was confused. She told us that the body scrub is actually just back scrub. And if we didn't want it, they will just do the massage for longer. Whatever happened to tummy ginger therapy? I have no idea.

We were then escorted to the massage room upstairs. It was supposed to be a couple's room but we got single rooms. It doesn't matter to me but some might be more confortable having their husbands in the same room.

My husband didn't want the hot stone massage and wanted the normal massage but I chose to have the hot stone massage.

The first 20 minutes, both therapist was busy chatting with each other. I got a little bit annoyed as I prefer to enjoy my massage when it's quiet and also I think they can focus better when they're not chatting to one another. Our rooms was next to each other too, so they had to talk pretty loudly. Thank god they stopped talking after awhile and soon I started to enjoy my massage.

Overall, the massage was awesome. The pressure was good and consistent. I was enjoying it very much. The hot stone treatment was good too. My husband also enjoyed his massage very much.

After our 2 hour massage, we were served with hot ginger tea which was amazingly delicious!

It was definitely worth the try. We both loved the massage. They asked us to sign up for a package but we didn't because we weren't confident that the therapist would stay working there.

The lady who massaged my husband has been working there for 2 years and the other one just started working for 6 months. When asked about their new management, both didn't want to comment - which to me isn't a good sign! LOL.

Important thing to note is they don't accept male customer when they come on their own unless they already have a package with them. This is good I feel.

Try their massage or buy the voucher from Living Social. It's worth it!

Mascara Tips For Fuller Looking Lashes

I have big eyes. That's the first thing people notice about me. I used to buy tonnes of eye make up to make them look bigger but being a mum with 2 young kids, I don't have much time to do eye make up anymore. Less is more when you are a mother, I feel. Still, I have to look nice when I'm out and that's the first thing that will catch people's attention. Since I don't put on a lot of make up anymore, I make sure I do the basic. Put on my BB cream, fill up my eyebrows, put on a lipgloss & most importantly, put on my mascara.
One of the makeup item that I often use is the mascara. Mascara allows women to have longer lashes and makes them feel more feminine inside out. However, it cannot be denied that women tend to have some problems in applying it nicely onto their beautiful eyelashes for a good effect. There are three simple techniques which can help you to achieve fuller looking lashes without even putting on the fake ones. I thought it would be good to share it with you.

1. Put some powder

Before you apply your mascara, put a bit of powder on your lashes to make it look more plump and full. This is a trick where most people are not aware of and it definitely works! Put a few dust of powder onto your eyelashes but make sure to not get onto your eyes. Slip on the mascara and your lashes will look fuller than ever before.

2. Zig Zag technique

The next trick for women is to apply the mascara is a zig zag motion on your upper and bottom lashes. Start applying it from the root upwards and it will give you not only fuller lashes but longer length. Besides that, applying your mascara in a zig zag motion can also avoid clumps on the eyelashes and separates it evenly.

3. A Few Coats

The rule of only applying two coats of mascara onto your eyelash is definitely wrong. Women should apply a few more coats as for a perfect looking result but make sure to evenly apply it before the mascara liquid gets dry. Choose a black coloured one as the colour black can make you have a bolder and dramatic eye look. If you are looking for some new mascara to add into your makeup kit at home, check out ZALORA website as it offers a wide mascara selection online from local and international brands.

Go try it!!!
