Strip, The Curve

Im 36 weeks pregnant and I think Im about to pop anytime soon. I think I should go for waxing before I go into labour.

I asked around and they tell me that the best place to go is to The Strip at the Curve. They have 3 branches - Bangsar Telawi, The Curve and Sunway Pyramid. I've never been to any of the outlets..this was my very first experience and my very first Brazillian adventure.

I was so very malu to say the least. I didnt know what to expect but I was told that they're really professional and all that.

I made an appointment for 1pm. Got there on time...feeling nervous. Didnt know what to expect.
The lady at the counter was really friendly. I asked if they have other clients like me, about to pop and gatal nak try brazillian and she said yea. I was told to complete a form and that was it. Not long after that, this sweet girl came and took me to the room.

The place is small but pretty cool and compact. The girl was really professional and although I was malu as hell, she made me feel really comfortable. I guess she knows what she's doing and she's seen them all..so I should just chill and relax.

The experience? Well....for a first timer....it was ok I guess. Not painful to me cuz I wax my legs all the time so I guess the pain was ok to me.

The result? Well.... I've never had it done before so I dont really know to say if they did a good job or not. All I know is they were friendly and professional and made me feel very comfortable.

I ended up signing for a package...which is pretty good I thought. I got some RM600+ credits and only had to pay for RM500+ . I can use the credits for future treatments at any of their outlets. Its ok, I can come for waxing again anytime...so its not a waste. Plus, I kinda like the place.

They also pursuaded me to get this product. Mahal. RM210. Apparently its good. We'll see.

I spent slightly over RM700 there but it was ok. Good experience.

Bonacure Shampoo

If you know me, you'll know that I am fussy about my hair. Only because I have to make an effort to make my hair look nice otherwise I can look like a lion. My hair is straight-ish but inside, certain parts at the roots are frizzy, which drives me nuts.

Throughout my whole adult life..I've been searching for the right shampoo. When I was in UK, the perfect shampoo was the Toni & Guy shampoo that I can easily get from Boots but when I came back to KL for good, somehow the shampoo doesnt really do it for me. Plus, its difficult to find..but I do miss that smell :)

Few months back, I've been using this shampoo - Bonacure Repair Rescue.
Truth is, the only reason why I bought this was because it was on sale at that time. RM50 for the shampoo and I get the conditioner for free. Bargain right? I got it from Sg. Wang.

This shampoo works well for me.
Im so happy!!!!!

I dont know if its because Im preggers or what...but since using this shampoo, my hair feels softer and more manageable and less hair loss. Basically, it works.

I still buy them from Sg. Wang (one of those shop that sells shampoo and stuff) and they still have that offer going on.

Daisy by Marc Jacob

Hubby bought me this in Singapore a few weeks back. (cuz I told him to!) I love this perfume. It is fresh and sexy and dont you just love the daisies? I love daisies..they're my favourite flower :)
