Hunny & Bunny

I had lots of credit points from Living Social and had to finish it. There are many restrictions too and since I can only use those credit points on service or food vouchers, I decided to spend it on spa and massages.

When I saw this deal for RM48, I bought it and when my husband heard, he wanted to come along too. I ended up buying 2 of these vouchers.

I tried to make an appointment for us to go together while the kids are in school but they are always full. Finally I got a slot about 3 weeks later. We weren't in a hurry and I had no choice so we agreed.

On the day of the appointment, we got there early. Thank god we did as we couldn't find the spa. We parked on the main road of Plaza Damas (opposite Innai) and was walking around for the spa but couldn't find it. Turns out, it is actually not on the main road.

If you can see from the voucher, it says that the name of the spa is Reffinej Wellness. We walked around and couldn't find it. We see signboards and banners of their promotion but we couldn't find the same name. It was so weird.

Finally we went inside this spa called Hunny & Bunny beauty and greeted by 2 ladies. Turns out, they had a chance of management recently and changed their name to Hunny & Bunny. If only they told us when they called me the day before to reconfirm the appointment.

Anyways, as you can see.. The package is for:
1. Full body massage with aromatherapy and hot stone
2. Tummy ginger therapy; OR
3. Body scrub

The lady asked us what treatment we wanted. I was confused. She told us that the body scrub is actually just back scrub. And if we didn't want it, they will just do the massage for longer. Whatever happened to tummy ginger therapy? I have no idea.

We were then escorted to the massage room upstairs. It was supposed to be a couple's room but we got single rooms. It doesn't matter to me but some might be more confortable having their husbands in the same room.

My husband didn't want the hot stone massage and wanted the normal massage but I chose to have the hot stone massage.

The first 20 minutes, both therapist was busy chatting with each other. I got a little bit annoyed as I prefer to enjoy my massage when it's quiet and also I think they can focus better when they're not chatting to one another. Our rooms was next to each other too, so they had to talk pretty loudly. Thank god they stopped talking after awhile and soon I started to enjoy my massage.

Overall, the massage was awesome. The pressure was good and consistent. I was enjoying it very much. The hot stone treatment was good too. My husband also enjoyed his massage very much.

After our 2 hour massage, we were served with hot ginger tea which was amazingly delicious!

It was definitely worth the try. We both loved the massage. They asked us to sign up for a package but we didn't because we weren't confident that the therapist would stay working there.

The lady who massaged my husband has been working there for 2 years and the other one just started working for 6 months. When asked about their new management, both didn't want to comment - which to me isn't a good sign! LOL.

Important thing to note is they don't accept male customer when they come on their own unless they already have a package with them. This is good I feel.

Try their massage or buy the voucher from Living Social. It's worth it!
