Ozmosis - Health & Day Spa

Finally!!!!

On Friday, both hubby and I were complaining to each other about how much we needed a massage. It's been super long for me. Hubby went for a massage once since I got pregnant so I dont know what his excuse is. We always make fun that he's pregnant too...that's why he's always complaining bout his back.

I called a few spas and they dont do massage for someone who is still pretty new in the pregnancy. Out of a sudden, I decided to call Ozmosis. We've been there once or twice before and yes, we like it there but somehow we never go back. Maybe cuz it is slightly more expensive..or perhaps we prefer going to our usual place (like Hammam or Khareyana). So I called and asked if they have any treatment suitable for a pregnant lady and immediately she said yes. Yahoooooooooo...

I made an appointment for a massage for the next morning.

For January, they had this promotion going on where I can get a coco scrub and hair masque for RM220. Since I havent been pampered in a while, I thought why the hell not.
I also got an hour of their pregnancy massage for RM170 so that's RM390 for my treatment. Hubby got a 1 and half hour massage for RM220.

The whole thing was nice. I dont quite enjoy the scrub cuz I think it's a bit mild...but then again, I cant do their normal scrub cuz it's not suitable for me so I guess the coco scrub will do. The hair masque was ok but wasnt that relaxing. I was expecting them to massage my scalp and all...but because the masque was very rich, it felt more like pulling my hair than anything else.

The massage was nice. A much needed one indeed! It was soft and gentle..unlike what Im used to but its ok, I am pregnant afterall and I cant possibly do those hardcore strong pressure type of massage anyway. But it was relaxing so that was good. She knew which part was sore and spent more time there (on my shoulders).
Because Im pregnant, I cant lie on my front so to massage my back, I need to turn on the side instead. That was quite uncomfortable but I guess that's how it is for pregnancy massage.

Hubby was so impressed with his massage too. He said although the girl was tiny...the pressure was strong and consistent. She also knew where to focus on and he didnt have to tell her which part was aching cuz she knew. wah...bestnya..

OVerall it was good. We needed it.
The price is a bit on the high side....but it's worth it. We'll come back...that's for sure. Maybe once a month.

Neglected?

I know I've been neglecting this blog. I'm not happy about that and I'm not happy about missing my pampering session.

Reason why I've been neglecting this is because I'm pregnant. I just entered my 2nd trimester and trust me, I've been calling each and every spa I know in town and none of them wants to pamper me!!! :(

Im so depressed. I need some pampering soon.

Today I called Energy Day Spa and they say that they dont really do spa/massage for someone who is still considered quite new in the pregnancy.

Please let me know if there are any spas out there that does prenatal spa. Im dying to go.

I asked my doctor if it is ok for me to go for a massage and she gave me the thumbs up. So the first thing I did was book a foot massage at Sifu Reflexology in Bsar.
I asked for the soft kind of massage...more like rubbing than massage and this lady called Saro did it!
It was nice.

It's been almost 4 months...I really deserve some pampering. Show me where!!! PLEASEEE!!!!
